We are racing to the finish this year and we've had a lot of cool projects along the way. We were happy to welcome Rock n' Roll Hall-of-Famer John Sebastian, singer and principle songwriter of The Lovin' Spoonful, to record a track he co-wrote with Greta Morgan of Springtime Carnivore.
Emily's good friend, brilliant sound engineer Theo Karon, came for a 3-week stay during which we were able to finish the majority of tracking for the new Cross Record album! Very excited about it. The sessions also included some guest percussion and winds by Swans' drummer Thor Harris.

The Dialtones, an Austin noise-pop band led by Okkervil River guitarist Lauren Gurgiolo, came for a day of spaced-out improvised jams. The recordings will be featured in an interactive installation at a local gallery.
